Rights Respecting Schools

We are working together to gain the Level 1 Award and be recognised as a ‘Rights Respecting School’.  This is an award given on behalf of UNICEF that endorses and promotes the rights of every child.  We feel very strongly in giving each and every child the rights they deserve. We want to provide every possible opportunity for our pupils to develop into mature, caring and responsible young citizens who are ready to carve out the best future for themselves.

By learning about their rights,  our pupils learn about respecting the rights of others and the responsibilities that accompany that.
